Guests discover Montserrat’s spiritual heritage and traditional Catalan flavors on a journey from mountain landmarks to a historic wine estate. A panoramic cogwheel train ride introduces the mountain scenery before a local guide leads a visit to the Monastery and Basilica. A pre-booked ticket provides entry to the Black Madonna shrine, a highlight of the experience.

Approximately 45-60 minutes of free time gives travelers a chance to enjoy Montserrat independently before continuing to Oller del Mas. This 10th-century castle-winery provides a distinctive setting for a guided estate visit.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Montserrat and the Bages region may be cooler or more extreme than Barcelona; check the forecast and bring water in summer. 

Children aged 3 or under travel free without a seat or meal and must sit on an adult’s lap.
