Savor the renowned flavors of Emilia-Romagna on this full-day small group culinary journey from Milan. Traveling independently by train with provided tickets, guests arrive in Parma to meet their tour leader and begin an immersive experience in Italy’s celebrated “Food Valley.”

The day starts at a traditional cheese factory, where participants learn how Parmigiano Reggiano is produced using time-honored methods. A walk through aging rooms reveals the craftsmanship behind each wheel, followed by a guided tasting of different maturations. The experience continues at a prosciutto producer, offering insight into the curing process behind Prosciutto di Parma and a tasting of this iconic delicacy.

A leisurely lunch at a local osteria features regional specialties before the afternoon visit to an acetaia. Here, guests discover the production of traditional balsamic vinegar and enjoy a final tasting. The tour concludes with return travel to Milan in the early evening.
